That’s why Mount Carmel’s specially trained Oncology Nurse Navigators are such a valuable resource for you and your family. Your dedicated, personal navigator will:
- Help you better understand the care system
- Share insight on your diagnosis
- Coordinate appointments and with your care team
- Serve as your liaison with our clinical specialists
- Provide fellowship and emotional support
- Connect you with assistance, transportation, and other cost-saving resources
- Make referrals to resources to assist in coping with side effects of treatment
They’re your caring, concerned, informed advocate at a time when it couldn’t be more needed. Your navigator will be available to you each step of the way and looking out for the next step as well — especially the step that gets you on to your life after cancer.
